Technology has greatly influenced the world, and no one can outrun the wave of new gadgets, not even Jessica Alba. The star enjoyed her time snatching leading roles in blockbuster hits but now, unleashing the talented entrepreneur within, Alba is running her own nontoxic household goods business under the name of The Honest Company.
From Actress to Entrepreneur
Jessica Alba first broke into the Hollywood scene after Honey, her first debut dance film in 2003. Soon after, she took the lead role of Susan Storm in the Fantastic Four franchise.
Alba also star in major hits like Good Luck Chuck, The Eye, Valentine’s Day, and numerous movies directed by Robert Rodriguez such as Sin City and Machete. Despite having an impressive filmography list, she is now taking some time off to focus on her venture.
A True Technology Lover
Recently, the star sat down with Architectural Digest for an interview discussing her life and the projects she’s up to. She talked about the influence of technology and how it has impacted her family life and her business. Alba’s multibillion-dollar, eco-friendly company wouldn’t have become a reality if it weren’t for technology, she states.
A Warm Coffee And Good Phone
When asked about her family and her life as a mother, Alba states that she promotes the use of technology in her household as she believes that it is a great outlet for her children’s creativity and imagination.
She also talked about her oldest daughter Honor, who is an aspiring artist, mentioning how technology allows her to express herself.
When talking about gadgets in her house, she mentioned that her coffee maker, a Nespresso Espresso, and her phone were two gadgets that she absolutely cannot live without. Alba goes on to state that phones are like the reflection of a person which makes it basically impossible to not have one.
The pandemic has allowed actress-turned-entrepreneur to not only work on her business but also make some changes around the house.
She is now focusing on creating more outdoor space on her property since she wants her house to have that indoor-outdoor vibe. From celebrities to average people, technology is a must and an absolute need. Glad to know that we are not alone.
