Portia’s living room alone boasts floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors that open into the garden, with a terrace with an outdoor sofa, a long dining table, and even a charming parasol. If you’ve watched ABC, it’s impossible not to know Shaun Micallef, who’s been the face of the satirical show Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell since 2012. With such fame, it’s incredible how private the star’s life is. Micallef’s so elusive that even his everyday colleagues don’t really know him besides work. One of his former peers was surprised to meet his wife and couldn’t believe Shaun was even married.
The lucky lady is Leandra, and she appears to be happily living with Shaun in Williamstown, Victoria. Considering his highly successful show, we understand why Micallef wants to keep his personal life in the shadows.

Jessica Rowe – Price Undisclosed, North Shore
Much like various other rich people, Jessica Rowe couldn’t resist the charms of North Shore either and purchased a property in the region with her husband. Rowe’s estate features two bedrooms, and a balcony, with a shared swimming pool in the building.
While the exact sum that the couple splashed on the apartment is unknown, guesses around $800,000 and $1.1million have been made, based on the sales pattern in the same block. Samantha Armytage – $2.2 Million, Southern Highlands
Samantha Armytage has solidified her name as the former co-host of the breakfast television show Sunrise. Seven Network certainly paid their star enough to allow her to buy not one but two plush properties.

The rock legend, Ozzy Osbourne, never lived in a place for more than seven years until he stumbled upon the gorgeous 10,000 square-foot estate in Beverly Hills. Thus began an ambitious renovation project. Along with his wife, the pair decided that the property should feel like a home.
After hiring Lawrence-Bullard, the mansion that originally came with seven bedrooms now has only three, although they’re significantly grander. Other than this, it also comes with ten bathrooms, expansive walk-in closets, and multiple office spaces. Every morning, the place is greeted with a copious amount of sunshine.
Rove McManus – $6.4 Million, Bronte
When you’re as rich as Rove McManus, adding extravagant estates to your property portfolio becomes a regularity. In 2016, the star bought a beautiful beachside house for a whopping $6.4 million.
McManus’ residence boasted a majestic view of the Bronte beach, but now the dwelling has been sold for a steep $14 million! Before selling it off, Rove did some extensive renovations to it and added another floor to the building. And now Rove’s doing it again, but this time, with a dwelling in Coogee that he recently bagged on auction!
Adam Hills – Price Undisclosed, London
Adam Hills is one of the most well-known comedians of today. Therefore, it’s pretty surprising how he manages to kept his life private.
Adam currently lives in London with Opera Singer Ali McGregor and their two daughters. The comic made headlines last year after braving the pandemic and flying back to his English home, explaining that going through self-isolation felt like he’d argued with his wife. However, we’re confident Hills felt better after knowing that Australia’s honored the funnyman with a stamp in recognition of the country’s Legends of Comedy. Safely reunited with his loved ones at home, we hope that Adam continues to be safe and healthy.
Lisa Wilkinson – Price Undisclosed, Australia
The close bond between family members makes a home. This statement is true for Lisa Wilkinson’s family. For the past 30 years, she’s been living a happy family life with her husband Peter Fitzsimons and their three kids.
Even though the acclaimed TV host is yet to give us a tour of her gorgeous home, in the pictures Lisa shared on social media, it seems like she lives in a spacious home with a lovely porch. Although Wilkinson’s brood is all grown up now, it appears that these empty nesters find themselves with a house full of life and laughter again whenever the children return to be with them.
John Cleese – $8.25 Million, Montecito
What to do when you’re rich like the legendary John Cleese? Well, learning from the best, investing the money in a beachside property like the celeb himself would be an incredible idea. Spread in 3942 sq. ft. of land, the villa boasts multilevel decks, open porches, and garden areas along the surrounding coastline. It also has a stunning dining room, a spacious contemporary kitchen, and a thousand-bottle wine cellar. Moreover, John must have liked reading his scripts by the fireplace in his humungous living room!
Dave Hughes – $3 Million, Melbourne
In the past months, Dave Hughes has been desperate to look for a tenant to occupy his $3 million home. He was so earnestly ready to get the matter settled that Hughes joked how he’s even willing to have the house used as a lab as long as the tenants pay their lease.
Thank Goodness! Hughes was able to find someone willing to rent the house after lowering the total to a relatively affordable $2000. Dave had purchased the home at an auction at the highest bidder in the TV show The Block in 2017. We’re glad the comic’s house found a tenant at last.
Tim Minchin – $1.08 Million, Sydney
Kangaroo Valley in Sydney is known for its A-list residents, and guess who’s the newest addition on the lane – it’s none other than our favorite comedian Tim Minchin. The mansion indeed has warm, welcoming vibes suitable for this closely-knit family!

Chris Lilley – Undisclosed, Sydney
Given that Chris Lilley owns beachfront property on Sydney’s Bondi Beach, we must admit we rarely see him out in the water. Perhaps he’s still busy enjoying an indoor life in his million-dollar worth mansion. The rustic exteriors with long glass windows and doors seem incredible; we wonder how well the interiors must look. If only we could get a sneak peek!
Nonetheless, Chris’s taste in real estate and the celeb’s grande stature in the industry assures us that every nook and corner of his abode must be well designed and decorated with exotic artifacts.
Bob Barker – $138K, Los Angeles
Some TV show hosts shot to stardom so quickly and became very successful in the industry. Bob Barker is one of them. Pictured above is his two-story mansion in Los Angeles. The house looks like a Spanish bungalow and is located in the southwest corner of Hillside and Outpost.
Barker is very private and confidential about his dwellings—and even to this day—he remains so. The neighborhood is calm and quiet, making it a lovely place to live. With a relaxing swimming pool and several carparks, the price of the house is rumored to be $138K.
Phoebe Dynevor – Price Undisclosed, London
In the summer of 2020, Phoebe Dynevor moved to Hampstead in London. We’ve known her since she was a teenager, playing in Waterloo Road and Prisoners’ Wives. Recently, she got to play in Netflix’s Bridgeton as Daphne, and surprisingly enough, her house could very well have been part of the series’ set.
Though we can’t know how much she spent to live there, it must be quite expensive given the success she’s had recently. She’s given us many glimpses inside through her social media accounts. The house is filled with antique furniture and wooden paneling. In 2021 she went on The Drew Barrymore Show as a guest.
Ron Howard – $27.5 Million, Connecticut
Although Ron Howard gained prominence as a child actor, he later went on to become a film director. Needless to say, he has a knack for filmmaking, which earned him a fortune of $160 million so far. A part of his wealth was his fantastic 17,200-square-foot house in Connecticut that lay on 32 acres of land.
The Apollo 13 director sold it for a whopping $27.5 million, making it the most expensive house deal of Westchester County. With six bedrooms, five full baths, and an indoor pool, this two-story delight of a house has a fancy kitchen with mahogany furnishings. Try to imagine how big this house is!
Jack Nicholson – $6.5 Million, Mulholland Drive
Jack Nicholson is no stranger to Mulholland Drive. In fact, the actor-director has owned one piece of property from there since 1969. His ownership expanded over the years, and as of today, Nicholson bears ownership to four pieces of real estate on Mulholland Drive.
One of these houses (his most recent acquisition) is fellow actor Marlon Brando’s home, which went up for sale following his death in 2004. Nicholson planned to demolish the house that sat on nearly 40,000 square feet of land, and plant frangipani flowers in its soil. Spending $6.5 million to do just that is quite strange, don’t you think?
Jane Fonda – $13 Million, Beverly Hills
Music producer Richard Perry and actress Jane Fonda bought a house from Beverly Hills for $12.995 million when they were together. The house was originally built in 1961 and previously owned by Emmy Award-winning television director John Rich. The modern home is located in a calm and tranquil neighborhood and behind its gates—the multi-level house has all the luxuries, including a fancy glass elevator. On the outside, there is a garage that can house up to three cars, and the couple loves their beautiful and comfortable home.
Tom Selleck – Price Undisclosed, Bay Ridge
You probably know Tom Selleck, even more so for his thick mustache than his acting. Having gained fame with the role of Thomas Magnum on Magnum P. I., his career spans over five decades now. Since 2010, Selleck has been starring in the CBS series Blue Bloods.
The house pictured above does not really belong to Selleck, nor does he live there—at least not in real life. The Colonial-style brick house built in the ’20s is Selleck’s (or Frank Reagan’s) home solely on the TV show. Blue Bloods fans hold on to your hats for this! The Reagan house actually belongs to the Diocese of Saint Maron. Say what now?

Pictured above is Snipes’ old home located in Alpine, New Jersey. Having lived there for a while, he sold the house in 2014 for $4.125 million. Not much was revealed to the public about his residence, but it definitely looks beautiful and is surrounded by greenery.

It is safe to say that Gifford is loaded because her wealth adds up to $60 million. A part of it represented her jaw-dropping house by the waters in the Sunshine State. The 11,400- square-foot deluxe house had mesmerizing views of the ocean from every angle. Unfortunately, Gifford gave it up for $10.5 million in 2018.
Kate Garraway – Undisclosed Price, London
Since 2005, Kate Garraway has been happily married to Derek Draper, the father of her two children. Though we cannot know how much they spent to buy it, it must have been a lot given their large fortunes.
Garraway alone is said to be worth around $2 million. The house’s selling point was apparently the large garden, in which they now grow fruits and vegetables. It has more than enough room to house their entire family and guests. Since 2014, Kate’s been presenting Good Morning Britain.

Phil Collins – $33 Million Miami Beach
You would have to be filthy rich to be able to throw $33 million at a house. Well, the British musician Phil Collins did just that. It’s not like he emptied his bank account while doing so because Collins is currently worth $260 million.
The Miami Beach estate previously belonged to Jennifer Lopez, and due to that, there may be some royalty charges involved in the price. It holds 12,100 square feet of living space, and the seven bedrooms and eight full baths undoubtedly occupy most of it. With a koi pond, wine cellar, media room, gym, and spa, Collins surely can reflect on his song Another Day In Paradise.
Maggie Smith – $7.7 Million, Byfleet
Doesn’t Maggie Smith live at Hogwarts? Apparently not. The 85-year-old Downton Abbey star who is also famous as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter series lives in a 15th-century red-brick farmhouse in Pulborough, West Sussex. However, the photo above is not it.
The Byfleet Manor is her—or should we say Lady Violet Crawley’s residence on Downton Abbey. Located in Byfleet in Surrey, the estate belonged to the businesswoman Julie Hutton. She sold the 17th-century mansion in 2015 for £5.95 million, which converts to approximately $7.7 million in the present. Leonardo DiCaprio – $10.95 Million, Malibu
Back in 1998, Leonardo DiCaprio used the big paycheck he got from Titanic, to buy this beautiful beach house in Malibu. He lived there for just short of two decades before he decided to let go of it. In doing so, he listed it, asking for $10.95 million, or $190K a month in rent!
Its price might seem farfetched, but it’s understandable given its features. The lot has three separate buildings, a 4-bedroom main house, a 2-bedroom guest house, and a 1-bedroom additional building with a gym and an office. For 2021, Leo’s preparing to star in The Killers of the Flower Moon.
Al Pacino – $3.3 Million, New York
He might have bagged $3.3 million selling this property, but it turns out that Al Pacino was using this house as a guest house! Al listed the almost 2.5-acre lot on the market in 2012, for the first time, asking for $4.5 million. However, he only sold it almost a year later for $3.3 million.
What makes this property unique are the stunning views of the Hudson River. It’s a 4,340-square-foot building with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, built back in 1941. Al Pacino is now worth approximately $165 million. He’s just finished playing on the first season of the Hunters series in 2020.

Remember Jethro Bodine from The Beverly Hillbillies? He is 82 now. As he gradually got closer to his retirement from acting, Max Baer Jr. began looking into other ventures. The gambling industry somehow intrigued him, and he tried to build Jethro’s Casino, which ended up failing.
Probably trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel from gambling, Max settled down in Paradise, Nevada. He hasn’t given out many details about his residence to the public. However, it seems like a decent pick. Since 2015, Max is the last member alive from the main cast of the famous sitcom.
Quincy Jones – $5.4 Million, Bel-Air
Quincy Jones is a successful musician who specializes in many music genres. The famous composer settled in his 5,500 square feet home in Bel-Air during the ’80s, and he reportedly purchased it for a price below $3 million. After living in the house for nearly two decades, Jones listed it $5.4 million in 2005.
The neighborhood is one of the most expensive places in the country, and the rent could go up to $20K per month. The wood and brick house had three floors consisting of six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. Originally built in 1948, the house had a spacious kitchen and a swimming pool too.
Mark Zuckerberg – $59 Million, Lake Tahoe
When you’re Mark Zuckerberg, with over $100 billion in the bank, you can afford anything. But it takes some real imagination to spend that kind of money, and that’s what the Facebook CEO did when he bought his Lake Tahoe compound. Why? Because he didn’t buy one place, he bought two.
In 2019 he forked out a cool $59 million on two adjacent mansions, called Carousel Estate and Brushwood Estate. Altogether the abodes sit on ten acres of land and boast a total of 15 bedrooms. Apparently, this compound will serve as a holiday home for him and his family, and all details have been kept private.

The 12,000-square-foot house with six bedrooms and nine baths sits in peace at the center of 1.37 acres. While the indoors feature a stone fireplace and a wine cellar, the swimming pool and tennis court occupy much of the outdoors. In 2016, this piece of work sold for a whopping $6.512 million.

Unfortunately, the couple’s marriage of over two decades only lasted two years following the acquisition. In 2013, Hogan sold the 6,300-square-foot mansion to fellow Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth, for $6.7 million. In 2016, Hemsworth gave it up for $9 million. It looks like one of the fast-moving pieces of real estate among celebrities.
Rick Harrison – $3.99 Million, Las Vegas
In 2019, Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars listed his Red Rock Country Club house in the market for $3.99 million. He hadn’t owned the house for very long but decided to give it up because his children were all grown, and he did not need 8,800 square feet of living space.
The residence had centuries-old fittings, with one of the windows being 800 years old. The house is definitely not that old. In fact, it was only built in 2001. All the granite floors and ancient furniture were Harrison’s doing because—well, it’s Harrison.
Chuck Woolery –~ $1.755 Million, Los Angeles

After his song Piano Man became a huge hit, Billy Joel became the “Piano Man.” With more than 150 million record sales around the world, he made a sweet, sweet fortune for himself. With all that money rolling in, Joel purchased multiple properties.
His Palm Beach mansion caught the eye of many when news broke about the purchase. Joel purchased the 13,000-square-foot house in 2014 for $11.8 million. It seems that the eight-bedroom eight-bathroom residence overlooking the coast was purchased as an investment property. We believe so because just one year later, after renovations, he listed the mansion for $19.5 million—a price tag that later dropped to $16.9 million.
Brigitte Bardot – $5.65 Million, South Of France
Although Brigitte Bardot is now quietly in retirement, she was quite the party girl back in the day. Having risen to stardom as an actress in the ’50s and pursuing a singing career in the ’60s, Bardot has been an activist ever since her retirement in ’73. In summary, she has done it all.
Bardot’s getaway in her youth was the 13th century stone house she settled down in ’58. This one-in-a-million residence had an infinity swimming pool while its guest house had another.

Since then, MacGraw has lived in what she calls the “little cottage” in Santa Fe. Having lived there for over 25 years, she has become a part of the area’s closed community. MacGraw said her goodbyes to acting in 2009, and since then, she spends most of her time as a volunteer for animal welfare.

Brad Pitt is one of Hollywood’s most handsome actors with an enormous number of fangirls from around the world. While still together with his second (ex) wife, Angelina Jolie, the couple rented a 22,000-square-foot mansion in Long Island during the filming of Salt.
The stunning estate with the name Sassafras is a secluded delight that has access to a private beach with its own pier. The grand entrance to the eight-bedroom dream house is through a great hall with a 48-foot cathedral ceiling. This masterpiece was up for sale in 2017 for an insane asking price of $55 million. We wonder who the current lucky owner is.

According to its listing in 2016 that had a price tag of $3.5 million, the residence has a saltwater swimming pool and “trees worth millions of dollars.” How did they put a price tag on nature?
Randolph Mantooth – Undisclosed Price, Los Angeles
He was born in Sacramento, California, back in 1945. After Randolph Mantooth started his acting career, he went on to earn a $3 million fortune, which has allowed him to call places like these, his home. The house is located on a hilltop in Los Angeles.
We might not know how much it cost him to buy it, but given his net worth, it’s safe to say it was expensive. It’s a single-story house with a landscaped front deck and a spacious backyard. Randolph earned most of his fame by playing in series like Emergency! in the ‘70s.
Steve Harvey – $165 Million, California
The television mogul, Steve Harvey’s career took off after struggling and sweating for years. However, his hard work certainly paid-off because, in the present, he rakes in an insane sum of $45 million annually. With a number like that, you wouldn’t be surprised to know that the family leased a Beverly Park mansion for $110K per month.
For the Family Feud host, we guess it’s like pocket change. Although there were rumors about Harvey owning the $165 million house, no such information has been confirmed. The 11,200-square-foot property (which is relatively small in Beverly Park) has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Henry Winkler – $3.4 Million, Bel-Air
At the age of 74, the American actor, author, and comedian, Henry Winkler, has accomplished a great deal. As a dyslexic child, Winkler was referred to as ‘dumb,’ even by his parents. However, he later went on to co-write 32 Hank Zipzer children’s books. Talk about turning a weakness into a strength.
In 1993, Winkler acquired a four-bedroom house laying over 9,000 square feet in Bel-Air, which was perfect because he had three children (including one stepson). He paid an estimated $3.4 million for the old Country English-style house that was first constructed in 1934.
Charlie Hunnam – $2.7 Million, Los Angeles
Charlie Hunnam might play the tough guy, Jax, in ‘Sons of Anarchy,’ but his real-estate choices seem to be quite refined. He took ownership of a 3250 sqft Mediterranean style home that was transformed by the rockstar-turned-designer Tony Clearwater.
Despite having all the riches in the world, Hunnam chose to make the rooms utilitarian in nature. For instance, there is a step-down living space that can easily turn into a screening area and an outdoor dining setup, which doubles up as a party place. It seems like we can take a page or two from his space utilization techniques!

The Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert and her family used to call Livingston County in Michigan their home for over three years. However, in July of 2018, by holding an estate sale, the family announced their relocation to none other than New York City.
The family was happy living there and had a sense of belonging. Their neighbors told The Livingston Post that although they were famous people, they did allocate time to partake in community and charity work. In the present, the 55-year-old Gilbert keeps herself busy with her acting career as well as filmmaking.
Dr. Phil – $5.75 Million, Beverly Hills
We have all at some point probably seen or heard of the television show Dr. Phil. Here, we’ll be taking a look at Dr. Phil McGraw’s luxurious house in Beverly Hills. As soon as we stepped into 2020, Dr. Phil decided to sell his fancy mansion at $5.75 million.
With a heated pool, spa, and an outdoor kitchen allowing to enjoy the surrounding greenery, the outside is perfect. The 6,100-square-foot mansion surely is one of a kind.
Jay Leno – $13.5 Million, Rhode Island
With a fortune of $400 million, Jay Leno is undoubtedly up there with the richest of celebrities. In 2017, while driving along Ocean Drive, Leno’s wife pointed at a nice house sitting on 9 acres of land. Well, he ended up buying this $13.5 million opulent mansion on the spot. Do you still think money can’t do everything?
Sure, it was an impulse buy. But does the vehicle lover regret it? We don’t think so. The 14-bedroom residence also has eleven bathrooms, a tennis court, a swimming pool, and even a private beach. Leno purchased this 1936 masterpiece furnished, and with a six-car garage, it’s a win-win.
