Haven’t you ever fantasized about Jennifer Aniston’s shiny, voluminous, bouncy hair from the Friends series? If you have, lucky for you, now you can easily emulate that hairstyle by using her newly launched hair product.
Jen Aniston enters beauty segment with haircare product line
After keeping her hair care routine a secret for a long time, the actress has finally launched a haircare line that promises beautiful hair and even more. Smart as she is, she paired the launch of LolaVie with her signature perfume and go-to morning breakfast smoothie recipe.
On September 8, 2021, Anniston took to Instagram and shared a couple of pictures and videos of the first product, LolaVie – the Glossing Detangler. Greeting the world, she wrote, “Meet @Lolavie.” The actress revealed that she’s been working on the project for a long time and is very excited to share it with everyone. Speaking about her team, she said they’ve put in a lot of effort to create this haircare line, and hopes that everyone loves it as much as they do. The 52-year-old emphasized the product is free from parabens, silicones, sulfates, phthalates, and gluten. She called it vegan and cruelty-free and added that soon there would be more products joining the detangler.
Later, the same day while speaking with Allure magazine, Anniston stated that it took her five years to create the product. She disclosed that when using other hair company’s products, she was always curious about the ingredients that went into making them. That’s when she decided she would create a haircare line of her own, and after years of what to do and what not to do, now she has fulfilled her dream.
What’s so special about the detangler?
The reason why Anniston released the detangler first was due to its usefulness. Calling it a multi-tasker, she said it not only protects the hair from heat damage, but also keeps it shiny and soft for long. Recalling her old days, she explained that even when her hair had gone through a lot of thrashing, the detangler would make it extremely wonderful in no time. She continued that instead of putting on serums, creams, and conditioners after washing the hair, now she just sprays the detangler and blow-dries it.
What’s impressive about the mist is that it’s fully plant-based. It has chia seeds, lemon extracts, bamboo essence, a super-fruit complex, pea peptides, ginger root, and sugar cane to keep the scalp and hair free from damage.
