Do you know what happens when you combine the best of two worlds? You get something extraordinary, something which nobody could have anticipated. And that’s precisely what happened when Kevin Hart and Snoop Dog came together as commentators for the 2020 Summer Olympics highlights!
Since the beginning of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Kevin Hart and Snoop Dog have been entertaining fans with their hilarious commentary on their newly-launched Peacock show.
They’ve been describing the event’s most impressive moments, as well as the not-so-good ones, in their unique style. And boy, are they doing an awesome job!
Recently, when the duo commentated on the Equestrian events, they broke all their previous comedy records, making fans demand that all such events be commentated on by them from now on.
The Hilarious Commentary
In the latest episode of Olympic Highlights With Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg, Hart and Dogg participated in a “Cold Call” segment where they had to guess the sport or event name from the clips shown to them.
When an Equestrian event clip was played, the rapper was quick to tell its name, but what he said next left everybody crying with laughter.
A few seconds into the clip, the horse started prancing, and Dogg quickly alerted Hart, saying it was “crip walking.” Seeing his fellow commentator’s reaction, the comedian burst into laughter; he couldn’t sit still, but man, the rapper wasn’t over yet.
He added that the horse is off-chain and that he must put him in one of his videos, to which Hart started laughing even more. As the video came to an end, he requested to play it once again, and soon the duo began wondering how the horses were brought to Japan.
Dogg questioned which airline flew the horses, to which someone from the crew answered Emirates. Hearing this, he was shocked and said, “That’s expensive.” While Hart was reconfirming that answer, Dogg quipped that athletes were probably flown in Southwest Airlines!
From there, the conversation took a new turn, and they started talking about whether horses get medals for winning. When Dogg asked this question, Hart replied that he’d never seen a horse with a medal. He added it always goes to the person riding it, which is totally unacceptable.
After all, it’s the horse who does all the crip walking and not the jockey! Suddenly, the activist inside Hart awakened, and he started demanding respect and equal rights for horses.
He said that even horses should have the right to brag about the medals like the jockeys. When they go near other horses, they should also be able to flaunt their achievements.
If that’s what they could create from a small clip, imagine the level of pranks they’d pull off if they were live hosts! The whole stadium would probably be ROFLing, don’t you think?
