Princess Eugenie is enjoying motherhood to the fullest, and this is evident from her gushy social media posts that revolve around her newborn son, August. A day after celebrating her 31st birthday on March 23, 2021, Princess Eugenie posted two new pictures of her son on Instagram, and fans can’t help but go gaga over them.
Let’s take a look at what the new mother posted.
A quick look at the Instagram post
In one of the pictures, the Princess and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, can be seen smiling at each other while the royal mom cradles their son. One-month-old August Brooksbank can be spotted wearing a knitted white sweater with his name embroidered in blue (it’s super cute).
In the second photo, August is staring at the camera while nestled in on his dad’s shoulder. Eugenie complemented the pictures with a sweet caption, thanking Jack for showering her with birthday love. Hinting towards August, she said that she couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present!

Eugenie and Jack named their son (born February 9, 2021), August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. The couple decided to honor Eugenie’s grandfather, Prince Philip, by choosing his name as August’s middle name. FYI, Prince Philip recently returned to Windsor Castle after month-long hospital treatment.
A look back at August’s birth
After almost two years of marriage, Eugenie and Jack announced their pregnancy on September 25, 2020. The couple shared a post on Instagram holding a pair of fluffy bear slippers. Then, in early February, an official statement released by Buckingham Palace revealed that Eugenie had given birth to a baby boy in the presence of her husband. August was born at the Portland Hospital in London, where Meghan Markle previously birthed son Archie. Surprisingly, the hospital played a significant role in Eugenie and her elder sister, Princess Beatrice birth too.
Eugenie delivered August through a C-section due to her past spinal surgery for scoliosis. Soon after birthing, a close source of the royal family announced that the mother and son are doing fine. On February 20, 2021, Eugenie and Jack officially introduced their son by posting some family pictures on Instagram. In the post, the Princess thanked fans for their warm wishes and shared her experiences.

The outpour of wishes on Eugenie’s birthday
On the occasion of Eugenie’s 31st birthday, Queen Elizabeth shared a beautiful picture of her granddaughter with a cake and balloon emoji on Instagram. Soon after her warm wishes, fans took to Instagram to wish Eugenie.
Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, also joined the club by posting two childhood pictures of her daughter. The Duchess of York even shared a small video montage of spring flowers with a sweet message. Wishing Eugenie a ‘Happy Birthday,’ she said that the color of spring reminds her of Eugenie’s birth and how lucky she is to have her.
