Regardless of what tech is used to curate modern music and how it appeals to young audiences today, classical melodies had their own fun and charm. The musicians had depth to their voices, and the music was utterly hummable while having a different kind of energy.
When it comes to music from the 20th century, Frank Sinatra is one name that remains unforgettable. From ‘Somethin’ Stupid’ to ‘One Note Samba,’ the legend has made us swoon to his tunes on several occasions.
But music isn’t the only thing that’s kept Sinatra’s memory alive. It’s also his versatile acting and interesting personal life. And what’s interesting is that even after years of his passing, the man is still making headlines.
Recently, Frank’s luxurious California ex-home, Villa Maggio re-entered the market for $4.25 million.
A quick look into the history
In 1967, Frank asked architect Ross Patton to build him a home. It took $1.9 million at the time, along with three years of vigorous work for the structure to be ready. For twelve years, Frank lived in the property with his fellow “Rat Pack” members, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop.
Later, Frank donated the property to Loyola Marymount University, which in 1989 sold it off for $1.4 million. Since then, the property had various celebrity owners and bounced on and off the market quite a few times, including the year 2014 when it got listed for $3.95 million.

Taking a peek inside
The estate sits over ten acres of land and holds three buildings, including the main house, a guest house, and a pool house. It’s built 4,300 feet above sea level and provides enchanting views of the San Bernardino Mountains. Also, there are multiple decks in the mansion, which give a serene view of the San Bernardino National Forest, situated close by.
The main structure spreads over a 3,880 square foot area with wooden paneling in most of the rooms. It consists of five-bedrooms, six bathrooms, seven fireplaces, two kitchens, and a den. Next is the guesthouse, which has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a separate kitchen, a vintage fireplace, and an exclusive deck. Lastly, we have the pool house, which consists of another fireplace, a mini-kitchen, and two private saunas.
Apart from all this, there’s lots of outdoor space in the home. There’s a large pool, a tennis court, a helipad, and a garage that’s large enough to accommodate at least 24 cars. Just FYI, all the fireplaces installed in the villa are stone-built, and Frank exclusively designed the kitchens as he was a great fan of cooking. He even selected the fixtures and fittings of the three buildings so that everything looked perfect.

Other properties owned by Frank Sinatra
Apart from owning the Palm Desert estate, Frank also had properties in New York and California. The New York home is located in the Upper East Side neighborhood, while the California abode is in Riverside County in Palm Springs.
