“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” If that line doesn’t ring a bell for you, you never took music seriously!
Released in 2011, the song was a worldwide hit, and it still makes people crazy. But it’s not the song that is making news this time. It’s rather the singer: Kelly Clarkson.
Kelly has been receiving a lot of media attention since she relisted her Los Angeles home. The Californian mansion was first listed for $10 million in May of 2020. But since the price didn’t attract any buyers, Kelly reduced the amount by a million. FYI, the listing is being handled by brokers Chris Corkum and Lisa Brende of Compass Realty.

First, let’s take a look at the house’s history
Built-in 2018, the house is located in San Fernando Valley’s Encino neighborhood. Encino is home to celebs like Samuel L. Jackson, Ice Cube, and David Hasselhoff, and is also known as the past residence of celebrities like Clark Gable, John Wayne, and Roy Rogers.
Coming back to the house, Kelly purchased it with her now-estranged husband Brandon Blackstock for $8.5 million soon after the construction was completed. The first listing came in 2020, just weeks before Kelly filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
But, when her divorce news went viral, she removed the house from the market. Then after announcing the purchase of her new Los Angeles house, Kelly relisted the house for sale.
A look into the L.A. Farmhouse
The two-storied modern-rustic house is spread over 10,000 square feet and has pitched metal roofs with distressed-wood sidings. It’s airy and spacious and holds numerous black-painted window frames. It consists of eight bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, including a master suite that features a fireplace, a private patio, and a huge walk-in closet. Moreover, there’s a secluded backyard on the property and is hidden behind long trees and lush landscapes.
Apart from the aforesaid features, the house has various entertainment areas like a movie theatre, a home gym, a vintage wine cellar, and a triple island kitchen. The huge kitchen has seating space for six people and has an adjoining family room with sliding glass doors that open up to the backyard.
The backyard itself has a large sofa set along with a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, and a huge TV area. It also holds a large swimming pool that’s bordered by low glass walls and is safe from prying eyes. Also, the gates and fences, towering trees, and a wall of thick hedges ensure that the house is secured.
