American model Hailey Baldwin and Canadian singer Justin Bieber met in 2009 for the first time backstage at the American morning talk show, Today. Back then, she was only 12 years, while Justin was 14. Fast forward 9 years when the couple professed their love for each other in front of their friends and family, officially tying themselves in holy matrimony.
It’s been 3 years since the couple got married, and if you manage to take a sneak peek into their Instagram accounts, you’d instantly get hit by the love they still hold for one another.
Some Highs and Some Lows
Life cannot be all highs and wins- even celebrities have to incur their fair share of setbacks. One such instance occurred only recently in the couple’s lives when they sold their family home mansion of two years, which they acquired for $8.5 million back then, for under $8 million- with the furniture included! Justin had taken to Instagram over a year ago, seeking a potential buyer for his Los Angeles multimillion-dollar home
According to the Zillow listing, the duo enlisted the help of Compass’s Dalton Gomez- who is reportedly engaged to Ariana Grande, and Douglas Elliman’s Josh and Matt Altman- stars of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
It’s safe to say that the buyer’s consultants, owners of Schaefer and Luchs, played a winning hand on the deal, landing a sizeable discount for their clients while gaining the home fully-furnished as well.
More on the Property
The property sits in a high-end Beverly Hills neighborhood, spread over 6,100 square feet, and encompassing 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a bar area, a wine cellar, a home theater, and a home office.
Dubbed “The Tropics,” the mansion was built back in the 1930s. Still, it was renovated by Charles Infante, the art and production designer, only a while before the Biebers moved in. 6 short months later, however, the singer took to Instagram with his wish to sell the property, and asked if anyone would be interested. In a follow-up post, he promised to add the furniture to the sale, which Schaefer and Luchs made sure to include in the final deal.
Plenty Where That Came From
Although the couple took a significant hit on this sale, their other properties are more than enough to keep them happy and satisfied. Shortly before listing this home for the first time, Justin invested in another Beverly Hills property worth $25.8 million- a two-story, 11,000 square foot mansion, complete with a swimming pool, tennis court, 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a movie theater, and a gym.
Besides that, the singer owns a 101-acre lakeside property back in Canada, which he purchased for $5 million.
