According to New York Post’s statement, the couple recently moved into a newly purchased Malibu mansion, a prime property located just a few feet away from the Pacific Ocean.

The couple, who’s been dating since December 2017, purchased this Cape Cod-style house for $12.5 million, and according to Los Angeles property records, the sale took place on October 22, 2020, just a few days before they officially moved in. In July, the original listing for the estate quoted $14 million, so it looks like they bagged it at a discounted price.

Spread over 5,338-square-foot, the Malibu mansion is fully secured with gates, fences, and other extensive security measures. It consists of a fireplace, six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and a two-story detached guesthouse, including a game room.
The main house has cathedral-like ceilings and is outfitted with huge bay windows and bright white shiplap. The windows keep the house airy and provide gob-smacking oceanic views. The beachfront house’s kitchen has a bright outlook with a huge island along with a pass-through window that opens into the dining room.
Apart from all this, the house boasts a home theatre and a master suite with an exclusive terrace facing the beach. Moreover, there are numerous living spaces with connecting doors that open up to patio space in the backyard.
The fully fenced yards provide enough space for a large swimming pool and an outdoor barbecue setup. The swimming pool is huge and is accompanied by a relaxing spa corner. Also, the house deed includes a permit to build a tennis court on the back lawn.

Purchased in 2016, Johnson is the proud owner of a mid-century-modern house in the hills above Sunset Boulevard. Moreover, this mansion isn’t Chris Martin’s first Malibu investment either. He owns four more multimillion-dollar homes in the same area.
